Here the partial knowledge or a partial lie which is used is considered as a complete lie. The author illustrat ed this by giving two examples and how it can have an impact on the person on the pivotal side. It is very essential to be truthful completely.The rationale or the reason for truth telling is emphasized in Bible and Quran. Lying is morally pervert and diminishes social trust. Truth telling is one of the most important tools in decision making and produces long term benefits rather than harm.
